Programs > Childcare

We offer childcare options for children 3 to 6 years-old who are enrolled in our preschool, enrichment or K+ programs. Our options include before-care, after-care and school-days-off that follow our calendar. Parents looking for full-day care enroll in morning preschool, afternoon enrichment and the childcare options that work for your family.

Children in childcare will be in a mixed age classroom.  During before-care, the children are given a light breakfast, free choice time and/or gross motor time.  After-care students meet in a classroom with learning centers.  The schedule includes free choice, story/activity, snack and gross motor time.  At all times your child will receive care and nurture.

Zion Lutheran provides childcare for school-days-off. The school year calendar is provided prior to the start of school. Our center is closed for national holidays and 2 weeks for major cleaning.  One week is during Christmas break and the other is in August.

In order to attend any school-days-off, you need to sign up one month in advance with payment. The daily schedule will be an adjusted preschool schedule that will include morning activities of large group, centers, snack, gross motor, music, Jesus time, lunch, and nap.  Afternoon activities will include story time, free choice, snack, gross motor and other activities planned by the teacher.
